Editor's Picks: Best Vegan Products of 2014

Our pick of the ten vegan products that most impressed us this year, from yoghurts to ice cream, burgers to chocolate, crisps to spray cream. We concluded last year, that 2013 had been an exceptional year for vegan produce, and maybe we haven't seen quite as many great launches in 2014. How far we've come in the last decade though, that we have to pick and choose from so many good vegan foods. Read on for the Editor's picks of the best vegan products of 2014.

Battle of the dairy-free spray creams. Whipped vegan cream in a spray can is now something we've grown used to in the UK, but until now we've not had a choice of brands. SoyaToo make three varieties themselves (soya, rice and coconut), but it's great to have a further choice now that Schlagfix has arrived:

Schlagcreme dairy-free cream, universal or sweetened, for vegan whipped cream dishes. Schlagfix make a range of dairy-free products, including spray cream and vegan coffee creamer. These cartons compete with the SoyaToo range of soya, coconut and rice based whipping creams. How do they compare?

Review: Leha Schlagfix Spray Cream

Dairy-free whipped cream in a convenient spray can. German firm LeHA has brought a range of dairy alternatives to the UK, including whipping cream, coffee creamer and a couple of spray creams. There is a "super kosher" version of this spray cream called 'Whiptop' which you can also find in the UK - it's even sold in Tesco.

Review: Schlagfix Coffee Whitener

Liquid dairy-free coffee creamer in a mini carton from German firm LeHA. The company produces a range of non-dairy creams and whiteners available throughout mainland Europe. Veganstore have begun selling the coffee whitener here in the UK, along with their spray whip cream (review coming soon!)
