  1. Most Naan breads in the UK are made with yoghurt powder or whey etc.

Today whilst shopping at a local farm shop I found some vegan ones!
They look really good, the packs are huge too (3 very large naans per pack, bigger than dinner-plate size, so very good value)
    These are the naans

They aslo do 'spicy naans' but I chose the garlic and corrianda ones.

  2. Good tip, but there's a more widely available vegan naan bread:
    Tesco 'Light Choices' Mini Naan

    1. Ahh, I don't live near a Tesco so never shop there.

I had the naans today with a curry I made, the naans were lovely, very authentic and would easily pass for restaurant naans rather than store-bought.

Love the blog by the way. I'm planning on making the mock tuna mayo soon.

Glad the naans were good... the Tesco ones aren't all that great

  3. Fantastic, I've found you in Sainsbury Isle of Wight . At the moment you are cheaper than Alpro and have less sugar so, because of the sugar content, I shall certainly buy your natural soya from now on. Sarah

  4. The new Alpro Strawberry with rhubarb Yogurt is lovely.
Found this in my local Sainsburys store.
The yogurt was creamy and tasty, not too sweet.
It cost a bit more than the Vanilla yogurt at £1.39
    I would purchase again.

  8. Hello :D I have been recommended this site by my lovely vegan customers! I am a chocolatier and I have a new vegan product I am very proud of, could you review it for me on your site please? It's a rich, organic coconut and dark chocolate truffle (not the weather for it, I know). If you could send me an address I will send you some. My contact details can be found at www.cocos-amor.com or email me at admin@cocos-amor.com! Thank you! Sophie Hughes

They are not self certified - but certified by three independent industry
    bodies.

They have won awards even for sustainable packaging & recycling also.

    100% fresh - freshly delivered
    100% active ingredients.

Anyway - just though this might be of interest - they are growing by 30%
per year in each of the last three years in Austria & Germany as people
become aware of their authentic products - and will launch in 2015 in the
    UK

You can see more about the products on: www.purenaturalfresh.com

However - what the real message is - is that this company and it's
products are the real deal - everything is delivered direct - nothing sits
on shelves, no preservatives - or long sell by dates.
