Coconut based milkshake drinks for adults and kids, in 6 flavours, from London independent producers Rebel Kitchen. The company aims to make tasty, nourishing snacks available to everyone, at an affordable price. We picked up 3 of the milkshake flavours to see what the buzz is about.

Review: Koko Milkshakes



Coconut milk dairy-free milkshakes in multipacks from Koko (formerly Kara). We love Koko coconut milk, and we've also sampled the chocolate version at various vegan festivals, so we were pleased to see these multipacks appear. Available in Strawberry and Chocolate flavours, oddly in different shaped packs. They're long-life and come with straws, but also have a tear-off corner if you have a glass handy:

Tesco 'Free From' Banana Smoothies

Dairy-free coconut milk smoothies with banana, apple and passion fruit. These fruit smoothies from Tesco are labelled just as 'banana smoothies', but coconut features more prominently on the packs. The fruit content is actually mostly apple, followed by banana and little bit of passion fruit:

Billed as the 'World's Largest Milkshake Bar Company', ShakeAway has branches across the UK and a handful in Australia and other countries. What makes this milkshake chain different though, is not their size but their extensive vegan menu.

The soya shake market gets bigger by the day. Delamere Dairy have secured a place in the Free From aisle at Tesco with their new drinkable chocolate and vanilla shakes. We haven't come across Delamere before but they appear to produce soya milk and soya desserts too. We grabbed one each of their soya shakes to see how they taste.
