Fruit and nut snack bar with citrus and chilli. Vegan Tuck Box supplied this bar as part of their sample box of treats, which we reviewed last week. It's a brand we haven't come across before or seen in the shops at all. These bars are not cereal bars as they have no grain ingredients, but they're a similar type of snack bar made from purely fruit and nuts. The texture of this style of bar is often dull, so can the spicy lime flavour perk it up?
Fruit and nut bars are dense, and Raw Bite bars are no exception - this is a small brick of compacted ingredients. This bar is unsweetened, except for the natural sweetness of the fruits.
The lime does provide a good perky flavour, but we couldn't detect the chilli (it's there on the ingredients though). The texture is pretty dull.
If you like the raw, unsweetened promise this bar holds, then you might get something out of the experience. For our part, we couldn't help thinking that a handful of dates and cashews would be a cheaper way for a quick snack fill.
The other flavours in the Raw Bite range are Apple Cinnamon, Vanilla Berries, Coconut, Cashew, and Cacao (Cocoa).
Verdict: Chew a brick with a kick

Would love to try the Vanilla Berries bar, that flavour combination sounds the best to me.
