Budget Vegan: Giannis Ice Cream Cones at Aldi

Vegan waffle cones in 10 packs from Aldi. We've now found so many vegan ice cream cones that we wonder if there are any non-vegan ones anymore? These ones are the continental crispy waffle style cones rather than the wafer kind. We grabbed the dairy-free ice cream from the freezer and did yet another cone review. It's a hard life, dear reader...

The cones have a long shelf life of over a year, so these are a great store-cupboard staple, for the few days of sunshine that we call summer in the UK. We did find that once out of the packet they were very fragile and if your ice cream was hard, you'd break the cone trying to push a scoop in.

Once your ice cream is in though, these are excellent cones. Crispy, a little crunchy, and just sweet enough. The waffle flavour isn't strong, but they're not as bland as wafer cones. An excellent budget vegan option.

Now, if we could just have a little more sunshine... this is a pack of 10.
