Leftovers: Sainsbury's Chocolate Orange Thins

Sort of orangey After Eights. Part of the stuff-we-didn't-review-before-Christmas. These chocolate thins were in all the supermarkets at Christmas, in flavours including mint, turkish delight and orange. They all seem to be made in the same place, as the packs and the chocs are identical. Even the Divine ones are identical (though made with fairtrade chocolate). We picked up these orange ones from Sainsburys. Were we fond-ant of them?

Vegan Orange Chocolate Thins

They're all right. Chocolate and orange is a classic flavour and it's OK here too. The fondant isn't too orangey...subtle is good. The dark chocolate is shiny and crisp. We do find these 'thins' too thick for our liking... and much prefer something really thin like those great Aldi mint chocolate thins.

The other thing about orange thins is that they're not so great as after-dinner chocolates. Mint thins are sweet but also freshening. Orange is just a little too sweet.

Verdict: Thick Thins
