Review: Veggiestuff Vegan Sweets

Jelly sweets from Veggiestuff.com including sour rainbow twists, cola bottles and hard gums. The folks at Veggiestuff sent us a selection of their soft sweets for review. We've seen vegan cola bottles and hard gums before, but the rainbow twists are new. They may not have survived the mailing intact, but the taste wasn't affected...

Arriving in pieces, these rainbow twists are made by Haribo. They're sours, lovely and sharp and really fruity in a non specific way. The texture is soft... you could get through some calories quickly munching these down.

Sour cola bottles too, and amongst the best we've tried. Really nice and chewy, sharp and with a distinct cola taste. These are the sugar sprinkled kind of cola bottles.

The hard gums are the closest we've found to vegan fruit pastilles. Not as hard as some brands, which we like, and sweet but not tooth-achingly so. A bit more of a grown up taste than the other two options.

VegEco is the company behind both VeggieStuff.com and VeggiePets.com and they're also responsible for the Nuvale brand too (Nuvale Chunks review here). Be careful as not everything is vegan at Veggiestuff, and although you can't filter, everything is labelled either veggie or vegan.
