Dairy-free shortcake biscuits dipped in chocolate. Arriving in the July delivery of Vegan Tuck Box, these biscuits were the most tempting of the month's treats. Vegan shortcake is still pretty rare, and this kosher pack is new to us:
The recent hot weather is not ideal for reviewing chocolate of any kind, but we're not complaining. The biscuits are boxed, and come in a plastic tray, so are well protected.
It's just as well that the packaging is robust, because these are light and fragile biscuits. They're unbelievably light in fact, and the shortcake melts in your mouth. The biscuit part is buttery and crisp, and the chocolate is sweet. These really are very good shortcake biscuits.
The Not-so-Good: They're gone too quickly...!
