Review: Pernigotti Gianduiotti

Pernigotti Gianduiotti

Individually wrapped gianduja chocolates from VeganTuckBox.co.uk. Stylish Italian confectionery for the discerning vegan. Pernigotti make both milk and dark chocolate gianduiotti. If you're offered one, and if they're not in their bag, look for the red wrappers, as the milky ones are wrapped in gold paper.

These chocolates look great, with their stylish wrappers and quirky shape...true italian style. Pernigotti is a chocolatier from the Piedmont region of Italy, north of Genoa, and was founded in 1860.

We've reviewed plenty of gianduja here at Veganoo, and this is up there with the best. The size is just perfect for one or two bites. These being the 'dark' version of the company's offerings, there is plenty of cocoa flavour, alongside the hazelnut and just a hint of vanilla.

The Good: They look great and taste even better!
The Not-so-Good: No good for allergy suffers (may contain milk traces)
