Vegan Christmas: Choices Chocolate's Santa Sack

Vegan 'selection box' of dairy-free chocolates... without the box. Last year we bemoaned the lack of vegan selection boxes, so we put our own together from Go Max Go bars. This year, Choices (Celtic Chocolates) have stepped up to the plate with a festive Santa Sack of goodies. You get 180g of choccies from their faux-milk chocolate range:

Choices Chocolate's Santa Sack

Choices is one of a handful of companies making dairy-free faux milk chocolate in the UK, alongside Moo Free and Plamil. They all use the same recipe of rice powder to replace the dairy milk, but with quite distinct tastes. Choices's recipe produces a glossy, caramelly chocolate that isn't too hard to the bite.

The selection includes 'milk', orange and rice crisp chocolate bars, 'milk' and orange chocolate buttons, as well as three of the fabulous soft chocolate caramels we love.

If you're looking for a stocking filler for vegans or those with milk allergies, this Santa Sack is perfect.

We found ours in Holland & Barrett

Verdict: Bags of Choice

  1. Keep an eye out for these in your local Morrisons, last year just before/after Christmas they slashed the price to less that £1.50.
