Could this now be the archetypal vegan easter egg? The standard Moo Free faux-milk easter egg has quickly become a benchmark...widely available, reasonably priced and very good. Moo Free's version of rice milk chocolate is a favourite among vegans who will often name it as their first choice chocolate.
This perfectly formed easter egg looks a lot like milk chocolate, with a good colour and a nice sheen. The standard egg comes on its own without anything within, and is not over packaged... just a simple box and some foil.
The shell is a good thickness and breaks easily. The chocolate is not too hard, like some rice milk chocolate, and melts in the mouth like good chocolate should. The flavour of Moo Free chocolate is milky, tasty, fairly sweet...and with just a hint of that rice milk coming through.
This egg is organic, gluten-free and dairy-free and is certified vegan.
