Germany is a great place to buy vegan groceries and we are lucky enough to have some brought over from time to time. Doppelkekse (sandwich biscuits) are popular over there and these organic ones from Pural are really good. They are like digestive biscuits sandwiched with the vanilla fondant you'd get in a custard cream:
Pural are a wholefood distributor and producer based in Baden Baden...a place so good they named it twice.
You can buy vegan digestive creams in the UK under the Hills brand, which are distributed in Nisa stores. These Bio Bis are similar to those but superior, with a really tasty wholewheat biscuit and a lovely vanilla cream. After recently reviewing Oreos, we couldn't resist doing the twist, lick, dunk on these too...
