We counted 19 coins in our bag which is plenty to play shop with. The colourful foil wrappers bear inscriptions about the fair-trade nature of the coins.
The chocolate within is crisp and smooth and not too dark. These would suit lovers of dark chocolate or anyone looking for a dairy-free option.
If you're careful, you can even re-assemble the wrappers after you've eaten the chocolate...

I love the fact that these are fair trade, but we won't be buying them, as a dairy free option, I'm afraid. The advice on their chocolate bars is that they're not suitable for milk allergy sufferers, so I'm rather confused by the labels on these coins not stating that too. Just to be on the safe side, we'll be avoiding them this year!
ReplyDeleteThis is the problem for allergy sufferers...most dark chocolate is made on production lines also used for milk chocolate.
