Review: Vivani Chocolate Bars

@VeganTownUK sent us a selection of these organic chocolate chunk bars to review, and we were only too happy to oblige. We've missed the quiet arrival of Vivani to UK shores, but a few other vegan bloggers rave about their chocolate. Vivani might sound Italian, but the company is from northern Germany. We've got four flavours to check out:

Review: Gross Friesengold Chocolate Shortcake

Gross Friesengold Chocolate Shortcake - vegan biscuits

Dairy-free shortcake biscuits dipped in chocolate. Arriving in the July delivery of Vegan Tuck Box, these biscuits were the most tempting of the month's treats. Vegan shortcake is still pretty rare, and this kosher pack is new to us:

Review: Eti Tutku Mosaic Biscuits

Eti - Tutku - Chocolate Cream Mosaic Biscuits

From @vegantuckbox this month. Crunchy biscuits with a creamy chocolate filling. These biscuits are Turkish, and the ingredients seem to vary depending on where you are in the world - the US version has eggs and milk in. This pack is vegan, but you need to read the German or French ingredients if you want to see for yourself.

Review: Shneider's Delinut Dip

Shneiders - Delinut Dip - Dairy Free chocolate cream dippers

Chocolate dipper snack pack from the May Vegan Tuck Box selection of treats. Shneider's Delinut Duo spread gained top marks in our review last year, so we were thrilled to see this snack pot arrive. Oddly, Delinut is sometimes spelled Dellinut, depending on which country the product is manufactured for. Is the Dip as good as the Duo?

Review: Fourre Vanilla Cream Biscuits

Fourre - Vanilla Cream Doppelkeks - Vegan Biscuits

Doppelkeks sandwich biscuits from Vegan Tuck Box this month. Vegan custard creams are hard to come by, so these vanilla cream biscuits are a welcome substitute. Large round doppelkeks (double biscuits) are popular in Germany and France, but rare in the UK:

Review: Zotter Mitzi Blue White Chocolate

Zotter - Mitzi Blue 'Rice in Paradise' - Dairy Free Vegan White Chocolate

'Rice in Paradise' R.I.P.  rice milk white chocolate with cape gooseberries (physalis) from Austrian chocolate specialists Zotter. This is the second Zotter product to arrive from Vegan Tuck Box. Zotter appear to specialise in the 'unusual', and this is certainly like no other chocolate:

Review: Ananda's Valentine Round-Up

Ananda's - Limited Edition Valentine Round-Up - Vegan Wagon Wheel

Limited Edition heart-shaped vegan wagon wheel, from the February Vegan Tuck Box. We've previously reviewed Ananda's gelatine-free wagon wheels, but this heart shaped cutie is worth its own review. Your Vegan Valentine will be yours forever if they get one of these this Friday.

Review: Raw Bite Bar - Spicy Lime

Raw Bite - Spicy Lime - Fruit and Nut Snack Bar

Fruit and nut snack bar with citrus and chilli. Vegan Tuck Box supplied this bar as part of their sample box of treats, which we reviewed last week. It's a brand we haven't come across before or seen in the shops at all. These bars are not cereal bars as they have no grain ingredients, but they're  a similar type of snack bar made from purely fruit and nuts. The texture of this style of bar is often dull, so can the spicy lime flavour perk it up?

Review: Vego Chocolate Bar

Vego vegan dairy-free chocolate bar

Hazelnut gianduja chocolate with whole hazelnuts too! Our Vegan Tuck Box contained this huge (150g) bar of chocolate. We love the German website that promotes this bar:

"Probably the biggest and tastiest chocolate bar in the world"

They do have a point you know:
