Review: Vegusto VEGI-DIP, Classic

Vegusto VEGI-DIP Classic B12

Swiss firm Vegusto's chilled dip range is slowly making its way to more stores across the UK, along with their vegan meats and cheeses. We picked up a pot of their 'Classic B12' vegi-dip for our review:

This stuff isn't cheap so we were a little disappointed to realise that this is basically mayo. Mayo with nut butter in it. The taste is pleasant enough but the texture is a bit odd...it's quite gummy and gelatinous. Apart from dipping a few chips into it we couldn't think of what else to do with it. The suggestion on the pack is to use the dip as the base for salad dressings...but you don't need to import mayo all the way from Switzerland to make salad dressing.

If you've tried the other flavours, let us know... or maybe you thought of something better to do with this stuff?

Verdict: Deeply Dippy
