Moo Free has been around for a couple of years with their faux milk chocolate and their latest line is Mini Moos - three packs of mini choccy bars. We tried out their honeycomb bar which is a bit like a deconstructed Cadburys Crunchie...pieces of honeycomb toffee atop a bar of rice-milk chocolate.
Moo Free's faux milk chocolate is pretty good if you're seeking a milder alternative to dark chocolate. It's not as pale and sweet as the dairy stuff but is pretty smooth and without any unwanted taste of soya. There's a trend towards using rice powder in vegan milk chocolate from several suppliers which makes the products taste quite similar.
The honeycomb bar is great to look at and perfect if you like sticky honeycomb toffee...or maybe if you miss those Crunchies...
