Easter means chocolate right? But not always eggs. Departing with tradition (and orthodoxy), this box of chocolates would make a great gift for a vegan Easter. We often find vegan Easter eggs come without any goodies within... which is boring... so why not skip that, and just buy some great chocolates? This Sjaaaks assortment is a delicious selection of caramels and nutty chews with a rice-milk covering:
The box looks like something you might have bought in Ukraine in the 80s, but the chocolates within look much more presentable. You get nine beautifully presented chocolates, each unique. These chocs have travelled remarkably well, as Sjaaks make them in the US and ship them over. They arrived in perfect condition, looking really like a box of fine milk chocolates.
The centres are a mix of hard and soft caramel and truffle style fillings, with an emphasis on nuts such as peanut and almond. They all taste fantastic, particularly the salted caramel ones. The rice-milk chocolate is sweet and mild and without any funny rice or soy taste. We'd be really pleased if somebody gave us this box of chocs for Easter.
The one problem with them... they're just too moreish... you won't want to share them and they'll be gone in a flash.
